While in the Caribbean, I took a day to visit Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.

On the job I interact with telemetry and RF equipment and we have excellent systems for tracking spacecraft and launch vehicles, but Arecibo is a whole different ball game, completely apart from anything I've ever worked with.
